Dr. Temptation is a Global Health student and practitioner with 18 years of experience in reproductive and maternal health, HIV, and health education in Southern Africa. Currently serving as the Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) and PMTCT Officer at WHO Namibia.
Previously she was pivotal in rolling out and implementation of cervical cancer prevention and screening guidelines nationally. Dr. Temptation’s PhD work led to an educational program for community health workers, now part of Namibia’s national curriculum. Recently, her focus shifted to strengthening health systems through strategic planning, capacity building, and improving quality of care via a PHC approach. Earlier in her career, she was trained as a registered nurse midwives.
