Dr. Hind Bouguerra currently serves as Director of the Department of Studies and Planning at the Ministry of Health, where she oversees the implementation of the National Health Policy 2035, the development of strategic health sector plans and the monitoring and evaluation of health programs. She is a physician by training and Assistant Professor of Community Medicine and Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis.
Her professional experience spans disease surveillance and control, epidemic preparedness and response, field epidemiology, and health research. She has also contributed to capacity building through international training programmes, including the Mediterranean Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (MediPIET) and World Health Organization regional training initiatives.
Dr. Hind’s work focuses on health systems planning, public health preparedness, and strengthening health information systems to promote evidence-based decision-making and support digital transformation in the health sector.
