Dr. Ahmadou Boly is a medical doctor from Mali specialized in Clinical Epidemiology and public health emergency management. He currently serves as a Public Health Specialist with the World Health Organization office in Equatorial Guinea Office.
Over the past decade, Dr. Ahmadou has worked extensively in public health emergency preparedness and response, including integrated disease surveillance and response systems. He previously served as Head of the Public Health Emergency Operations Department in Mali and as Head of Epidemiological Surveillance Unit at the Generale Directorate of Health and Public Sanitation.
A Public Health Emergency Management Fellow of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Cohort 8), Dr. Boly has contributed to strengthening emergency preparedness systems, including the development of key Public Health Emergency Operations Center normative documents such as strategic plans, standard operating procedures, handbooks, and concepts of operations.
Currently, at the WHO Country Office in Equatorial Guinea, He provides strategic technical support and specialized expertise in the areas of health emergencies, disease and public health event surveillance, and health system strengthening.
