Esteller Mbadiwe is a Pharmacist with an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing, and deep cross-sector expertise across public and private health systems, public policy, and strategic advocacy including for addressing antimicrobial resistance in Nigeria, regionally, and globally. With a foundation in clinical pharmacy, Esteller brings advanced experience in health policy, systems strengthening, and government advisory.
Esteller is the Founding Partner of Ducit Blue Solutions, an Abuja‑based health consultancy advancing patient safety and healthcare quality through improvement science and data‑driven system redesign. The work focuses on optimising health system performance, policy‑to‑implementation translation, accountability and delivering measurable, sustainable improvements in care. The NGO Arm Ducit Blue Foundation, work includes succession planning for future public health leaders across Africa.
Esteller has also served as Special Adviser to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment at Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, contributing strategic insight at the intersection of health, policy, and economic development. She also served as Senior Special Adviser to the Government of Imo State on Health Services, leading system‑wide strategy for health sector rebuilding, reform, and performance improvement.
