Dr. Papa Samba Dieye is a medical doctor specialized in public health with over 20 years of experience in district health management and health emergency response. He currently serves as Director of the Health Emergency Operations Centre at the Ministry of Health and Social Action Senegal.
His work focuses on strengthening national emergency preparedness and response systems, including coordination of outbreak response operations and capacity building for rapid response teams. He has served as Deputy Coordinator of the national SURGE team in Senegal, supporting timely and effective deployment during public health emergencies.
