Dr. Fatima Guiet Mati is a pharmacist and public health practitioner with 15 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical regulation, access to medicines, and medicines quality assurance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, a Master’s in Pharmaceutical Regulation, and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Regulation and Law.
She currently works at Hôpital Général de Référence, where her work focuses on supply chain and improving access to quality medicines. She also acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agence Nigérienne de Règlementation du secteur Pharmaceutique.
Dr. Fatima is a teacher-researcher whose work supports multiple African countries in enhancing regulatory capacity, strengthening medicine quality surveillance systems, and implementing corrective and preventive actions across pharmaceutical supply chains.
