Dr. Ozoua Cynthia Rhode Bailly is a sociologist and researcher at Alassane Ouattara University with expertise in health policy analysis, social research, and sexual and reproductive health.
Her work focuses on generating evidence to inform policies and programmes that address critical health and social challenges in vulnerable populations. Over the course of her professional career, she has developed extensive experience in the design, planning, and management of health policy and public health research studies.
In 2019, Dr. Bailly designed and led a research study examining clandestine abortions in contexts characterized by criminalization, discrimination, and limited access to reproductive health services. Her research has contributed to broader discussions on reproductive rights, access to care, and the social determinants influencing women’s health outcomes.
In addition to her academic research, she has worked as a consultant on initiatives related to sexual and reproductive health promotion and partnership development, supporting collaborative approaches to improving public health outcomes in Côte d’Ivoire
