Dr. Sara Lavinia Brair is the Senior Country Representative for The Carter Center in Sudan. She previously served as Director General and Acting Minister of Health for White Nile State.
An Associate Professor, Dr. Brair served as Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Sudan International University, teaching Community Medicine and Public Health to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She also practices dermatology, providing patient care in an evening clinic. Her work spans public health leadership, medical education, and clinical practice.
