A Kofi Annan Fellow, Scholar & AVOHC specialist. Dr. Nyaberi is an Author of 101 Authentic Leadership Lessons: Impacting Africa’s leaders. She is a senior health systems and public health advisor & consultant with 12+ years of senior technical and strategic experience across Sub-Saharan Africa, and a lecturer at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in the School of Public Health. She holds a PhD and has expertise in designing and implementing multi-country health programs, mobilizing multimillion-dollar funding, and translating regional frameworks into actionable national policies.
She has a proven track record of forging high-impact partnerships with governments, and academic and global health institutions to advance health equity and system resilience. She has contributed to sustainable organizational development, program evaluation, policy advocacy, and public health research, including health systems research. Her work emphasizes health systems strengthening—health workforce development and capacity building augmented with community-oriented approaches to improving health outcomes.
Dr. Jackline currently serves as Chair of the Eastern Africa PhD (EAPhD) Hub, a regional initiative that brings together six higher education institutions across Eastern Africa in partnership with Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in the United Kingdom.
