New Africa CDC–FHI 360 Partnership to Boost Public Health Systems Across Africa
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Africa CDC and FHI 360, an international nonprofit organisation dedicated to improving health and development outcomes worldwide. This marks a significant step toward strengthening health security and building more resilient public health systems across the continent.
Dr Kaseya said the partnership advances the Africa Health Security and Sovereignty (AHSS) Agenda by reinforcing country‑led preparedness, sustainable financing, innovation and local capacity.
He emphasised that Africa must lead in securing its health future. Through this collaboration, Africa CDC and FHI 360 will support African Union Member States in strengthening systems to prevent, detect and respond decisively to public health threats.
