Mr. Muhanad Hassan Musa is a seasoned expert in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Project Management, Results-Based Management (RBM), Strategic Planning, and Resource Mobilization. He currently serves as the Head of Strategic Planning, Resource Mobilization, and Partnerships at the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat in Accra, Ghana. With an impressive career spanning multiple high-level roles, including leadership positions at the AUC and IGAD, Mr. Muhanad has a proven track record in developing and implementing long-term strategies and fostering partnerships across the African continent and globally.
He holds a Master’s degree in Energy Economics & Policy from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northeastern University. His academic and professional journey has taken him to 12 different countries, enhancing his multicultural fluency and language proficiency in Arabic, English, and French. Mr. Muhanad is also PRINCE2 certified in Project Management and has published research on energy economics.
