Florence Nviri is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience in accounting, auditing, finance, management, and banking. She currently serves as the Director of Finance at the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda, where she provides leadership and strategic guidance on financial management, treasury, and compliance with international financial reporting standards.
Her career has spanned various leadership roles, including Director of Finance and Planning at the Capital Markets Authority and Chief Manager of Finance, Treasury, and Administration at Post Bank Uganda. Florence’s expertise includes financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and policy development. She has also played significant roles in organizational transformation, spearheading strategic plans and overhauling financial policies.
With a strong passion for continuous learning, she has participated in numerous international trainings and conferences, including the World Congress of Accountants and leadership programs across Africa, Europe, and Canada. Florence is committed to fostering financial excellence and organizational growth in every role she undertakes.
Florence holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce majoring in Accounting from Makerere University and a MBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of Lincoln (UK). She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Uganda.
