Laboratory scientist with 15+ years expertise in clinical research and providing technical assistance to high-disease burden countries in Africa to improve the detection and surveillance of diseases of public health concern (HIV, TB and viral diseases) and to build resilient and sustainable laboratory networks and systems.
Member of the Stop TB Partnership Global Laboratory Initiative (GLI) core group, the STOP TB Partnership TB REACH wave 7 propsals review committee and as WHO Green Light Committee (GLC) laboratory consultant for programmatic management of drug resistant tuberculosis, contribute to or promote the elaboration, adoption and roll out of innovative policies and guidance on diagnostic methods to achieve improved disease detection and control in LMICs (Tuberculosis, COVID-19).
