Biography

I have a medical doctor degree from Mekelle University college of health science and Master of Public Health from Debrebirhan university . I have more than 12 years of clinical and community health work experiences both government and private institutions mostly in Ethiopia. I Joined the Africa union as a volunteer for Africa support for west Africa at the time of Ebola virus disease outbreak in 2014 and 2015. I also a member of AVHOC contributed as Rapid Responder for COVID-19 since May 2020 up to August 2022 in Ethiopia. Following the Ebola outbreak in Uganda, I served as Epidemiologist and contributed for the contained of the Ebola disease in late 2022 then transferred to Malawi for Cholera disease outbreak response representing Africa CDC in 2023. Currently working as National coordinator for Mauritius since August 2023.
