Addis Mhiraf

Ms Addis Mhiraf is a communication officer with more than eight years of experience in communications, journalism, TV production and media management. She currently serves as Communication Officer for Africa CDC, where she writes articles and press releases for the Eastern RCC, coordinates virtual meetings for the 14 Member States in the region, and coordinates other communication activities for the RCC. Ms Mhiraf also has experience in videography, editing and photography and she produced an introductory short video for Africa CDC Eastern Africa RCC in 2018. Before joining Africa CDC, Ms Mhiraf served as Communication Assistant at UN Women Ethiopia Country Office, where she worked for the African Women Changing the Narrative project. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication from Dilla University, College of Social Science and Humanities.
