Consultants to support implementation of the Africa CDC Quality Management System to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification (Junior consultant)

1. Background

Africa CDC is currently pursuing ISO 9001:2015 certification to enhance organizational effectiveness, promote process consistency, and meet international quality standards. As part of this initiative, Africa CDC has engaged a Senior ISO Consultant to lead the certification process. To support the documentation and operationalization of standardized procedures, a Junior Consultant is required to assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under the supervision and technical direction of the Senior Consultant and the Quality Management Project Lead.

2. Purpose

The primary purpose of this consultancy is to support the documentation of key organizational processes by drafting SOPs aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and internal best practices. The consultant will work closely with technical units, the Senior Consultant, and the Quality Management Project Team to ensure that all SOPs are practical, clear, and tailored to Africa CDC’s operational context.

3. Objectives

The overall objective of this consultancy is to support the Africa CDC’s Quality Management System (QMS) implementation process in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 certification standards. The Junior Consultant will provide technical and documentation support under the supervision of the Senior ISO 9001:2015 Consultant and the Quality Management Project Lead.
