The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) is the first continent- wide public health agency established with a mission to strengthen Africa’s public health institutions’ capabilities to detect and respond quickly and effectively to disease outbreaks and other health threats.
TheAfrican Union COVID-19 ResponseFund was formed with the objective to raise resources to strengthen the continental response to COVID-19 by e.g. supporting pool procurement of diagnostics and other medical commodities for distribution to the Member States to mitigating the pandemic’s socio economic and humanitarian impact on African populations.
The Africa CDC streamlines and consolidates funds contributed by commercial entities, individuals in Africa and the diaspora.
All interested are kindly invited to submit qualifying proposals no later than 1st May 2021.
